Here you see some of my NFU Mutual graphic design work (short for National Farmers Union Mutual Insurance Society). NFU Mutual wanted their New Business Sales Competition brochure to be about the real High Street. This meant I designed an engaging piece which conveys the tools and details the sales teams need. I ensured it was on-brand during my freelancing in person in Vital Marketing’s design studio.
To engage their staff, I depicted NFU Mutual’s retail customer types through captivating photography. To motivate and excite their team, I executed the whole piece in the form of a retail customer magazine. What’s clever is that features resemble lifestyle pieces whilst conveying necessary useful information to staff. For instance, I designed the Sales Competition spread as though about a grocer shop. The Marketing Material piece took the form of a recipe page with its full-page images of fresh food. The Tools and Strategies pages feature high street shops such as a bakery, butcher, florist and accessories shop and a ‘Shop owner’ feature. I also presented the Marketing Top Tips spread as a health and fitness feature. Fun to create, there were also mock adverts. My NFU Mutual graphic design work engaged staff and customers alike.
“Cat is a great addition to any studio, upbeat and quirky, she will knuckle down and get the job done.”
