Dough Bank

UI Design Concept

As part of my Professional Certificate in UI Design, I created a responsive banking app concept for Dough Bank using Figma. The brief was to design an interface that communicated the brand values of clear, playful and trustworthy, while creating an intuitive experience across mobile, tablet and desktop devices.

Beginning with visual research and competitor analysis, I developed a bold yet approachable identity before creating a reusable component library. This included buttons, navigation, cards, form fields, tables, graphs, menus and icons, which formed the foundation for responsive screen layouts. Through multiple design iterations, I refined the designs to improve clarity, consistency and usability while maintaining a friendly, accessible user experience.

The final concept includes account overview, transaction history and spending analysis screens. Careful use of colour, typography and spacing establishes a clear visual hierarchy, while reusable components and an 8-point grid create a cohesive design system across the interface.
