Here you see my graphic design for Tailored Mortgages, a Huddersfield-based company. Tailored Mortgages provide honest, detailed and tailored mortgage advice for buyers in the area. In order to fully launch, they needed a fully-responsive WordPress website with pages for each service and useful tools. For example these included pages for re-mortgaging, buy-to-let properties, moving home and insurance products. At the point of briefing, the client so far had a logo and a vision. Therefore a big part of this project meant extending branding through website design. I deployed smart blues and greys with a touch of orange for highlights. Then I sourced relevant imagery for each sub-page and styled it with grey overlays to suit the overall look.

For the Tools pages, I created custom forms for the Mortgage Calculator and Budget Planner. As they utilised third-party plug-ins, it was important their designs followed a consistent style. The website has several customisations on a Theme such as the contact forms. These needed a view version that only shows for tablet and a sidebar on specific pages with a downloadable newsletter PDF file. This ensures it works responsively when viewing on desktop computers, tablets and mobile devices. The important information page conveys all the relevant info such as the terms, each tidily tabbed per policy. Overall, working for Tailored Mortgages meant an outcome of a smart, professional and responsive website fit for business.
